Your Digital Twin is Your Pocket Personal Trainer
Most people we’ve talked to who sign up for a personal training program are looking for support, motivation, and most importantly a personal program that will make their body transformation attainable and less painful.
BODYSIM provides more tailored, focused and quantified attention than is possible from a conventional personal trainer, even those celebrity trainers that make as much as $15,000 for a six week program. Your digital twin is your perfect-match personal trainer, recommending a scheduled plan and reflecting progress. Science and your own evolving personal biometrics inform when to push and when to recover with the knowledge of what your body needs. Your twin will keep you on track towards achieving your goals using a combination of resistance training, blood testing, food logging and mental health scoring.
New to Resistance Training? BODYSIM is there for you
The choices can feel overwhelming when you are new to resistance training. Which exercises should you do? Free weights or machines? How much and how often? Even if you have been resistance training for a while, switching up your workouts to make better progress and prevent burnout can still present anxiety regarding choices because you don’t want to lose ground after all you’ve accomplished.
Starting with a baseline of your training age1 that shows you where your current musculature is relative to your potential, BODYSIM uses an initial DEXA scan, your food journal, and daily weigh-ins in combination with your training age and beginning 3D body measurements to create a fitness forecast. Your digital twin will chart the path to your peak potential from your current state and effort.
Target the Right Muscles
Once you know what to expect, BODYSIM directs you along the frontier of training efficiency so that you get the most out of your training with a personalized exercise selection and sets-per-week that maximize gains. Along with training age and how often you can workout, BODYSIM uses an in-app 3D body scan to take measurements of each muscle group and forecast progress toward your body composition goals to assess a selected split (multi-day plan) and suggest additional exercise and volume recommendations.
Your digital twin is an unbiased reflection used to determine where more focus is needed. The split recommendations will take those target areas into consideration and adjust volume to balance your muscles. Hyper focus on a muscle group because it’s what you associate with working out can distort your effort and slow progress. You can’t hit your muscular potential all in the biceps.
Keep a Training Log
Resistance training is a gap with most activity trackers. BODYSIM easily moves from measurement, to plan recommendations, to execution at a level of detail that respects the effort you put into your workouts. Your watch can know if you reported strength training but it can’t know if you lifted hard enough. Your BODYSIM digital twin provides a true measure of resistance training intensity so you can know if you are traversing your path as quickly as possible. You not only get detailed instructions on how to perform each exercise in our extensive library. Your twin assesses training intensity as your 1RM, which is the maximum amount of weight you can lift in repetition, charts your progress and forecasts your next increment per exercise.
Bump Up the Effort
If you can do more, your twin lets you know by providing progressive overload recommendations that link your BODYSIM training age to a literature model of >10k users over 5 years progressed optimally by personal trainers.
The combination of intensity and blood test results helps you understand if you are effort limited, if your glycogen store is limited or if you are hormonally gated.
Why the focus on Progressive Overload? We know that increasing lean muscle is key to hitting your goals and your metabolism is very good at mastering efficiency. Maybe you’ve made great progress, but what got there won’t keep you there. Even if you have been over-training, the Progressive Overload challenges the right muscles, the right way. BODYSIM workouts aim to move you along the training age curve efficiently, getting to your maximum potential as quickly as possible.
Keep Seeing Gains by Avoiding Overtraining
Your twin also safeguards you from overdoing it by assessing your risk of overtraining syndrome (OTS). BODYSIM incorporates the results of at-home blood testing to determine not only if you are nutritionally or hormonally limited but to detect signs of excess stress on your body. Those tests will indicate if you are underfueling your body leading to excessive fatigue. Your twin will recommend in app completion of the POMS (Profile of Mood States) survey which is a research-driven tool to detect signs of overtraining before physiological or immunological symptoms present themselves.
We’ve put together an integrated package that pulls all of your data and the best research in sports science together to enable the creation of your digital twin. While it would certainly be nice to also include the charisma and charm of a celebrity trainer, we think you are going to like your nerdy pocket-sized digital twin who is all about you.
